Bio-Materials Study

Circular, Sustainable, Innovative

A Bio-Materials workshop hosted by Material Driven in training the future designers educating on the innovation of materials and their values. Running talks, lectures, hands-on workshops and displays, they encourage the introduction of biomaterials in all sectors of the design industry. Over the course of a week I took part in understanding and producing bio-materials from the kitchen using simple utensils and ingredients.

An exploration into the use and production of sustainable alternatives to wasteful and harmful materials. This study puts into perspective the opportunities to replace traditional materials with a more sustainable alternative.
