Through the research and analysis of several spaces to idenify the textures and materials and how they contribute to the atmospheric feeling of the space. From this I expermintented with creating a selection of material palettes all with a different aesthetic. leading on from this I designed a shop and applied the different material textures to assess the change in style and feeling.

The three words of identity chosen for the project to associate material palettes are;

Neutral

Muted

Minimal

These words were the most fitting for the chosen space I decided to design. I then produced six material palettes which I felt fitted these words and my space well. My main goal was to create a range of palettes that conveyed these three words differently.
